This is designed for couples wanting to arrange for a wedding at Gretna, at a Registry Office or some other licenced location. Craigadam will arrange the following, which can be varied according to desire :-

• Booking of Registry Office.
• Documentation including license fees and all legal costs.
• Advice on wedding dress, beautician, men's suit or kilt hire.
• Provision of two witnesses.
• Photographer with 50 photos including negatives.
• Bridal bouquet and Groom Boutonniêre.
• Bottle of champagne and basket of flowers on arrival.
• Registrar's fees for the marriage performance.
• Wedding cake and candle lit dinner.
• Cost of Bridal Suite for 7 days.

2. : Honeymoon Holiday Package : (prices on request)

For newly-weds who have married elsewhere and want to enjoy the ambiance of peace and the countryside offered by Craigadam. We trust that it will be unforgettable and enjoyable. Package includes the following :-

• Bottle of champagne and basket of flowers on arrival.
• Candle-lit intimate dinner.
• Cost of hotel room for 7 days.

3. : Wedding Anniversary Package : (prices on request)

The Wedding Anniversary Package is another couple-based holiday celebrating the success of a marriage, with a special holiday in the comfort of Craigadam. The package includes the following :-

• Bottle of champagne and basket of flowers on arrival.
• Candle-lit Anniversary dinner.
• Cost of hotel room for 7 days.
• Photographer with 20 photos including negatives (optional).

4. : Wedding or Anniversary Blessing Package : (prices on request)

The Wedding Blessing Package may be a re-affirmation of vows by a couple in the presence of witnesses, probably friends or relatives, but an actual Blessing may involve a private service in the presence of a minister, either at Craigadam or at some other venue. This amounts to a marriage service except that no legal register is signed and no certificate of marriage is issued. As this can be a complex matter, depending on the guests and the degree of formality, the price will vary with the requirements of the couple. The package includes the following :-

• Bottle of champagne and basket of flowers on arrival.
• Arrangement of a Wedding or Anniversary Blessing at a suitable venue, including any Church or Minister's fees (optional).
• Photographer with 20 photos including negatives (optional).
• Arrangement of a Reception at Craigadam (optional).
• Candle-lit Dinner on the night of the Blessing (optional).
• Cost of hotel room for 7 days.

5. : Civil or Religious Wedding Package : (prices on request)

This is designed for couples wanting to arrange for a wedding at Gretna, at a Registry Office, Church or some other licenced location who then want to have a full-scale Reception and may have up to 200 guests. Craigadam would be booked for a dedicated period for a wedding of this kind. Celia Pickup will arrange the following, which can be varied according to the bride's desire. :-

• Booking of Registry Office and/or Gretna Forge or local Church.
• Documentation including license fees and all legal costs.
• Advice on Wedding Favors and Invitation Cards, Wedding Dress, Beautician, men's suit or kilt hire.
• Provision of two witnesses (optional).
• Photographer with 50 photos including negatives.
• Bridal bouquet and Groom Boutonniêre.
• Bottle of champagne and basket of flowers on arrival.
• Registrar's fees / Minister's fees for the marriage performance.
• Wedding cake and Reception (Dining Room and/or Courtyard Marquee).
• Provision of Piper.
• Cost of Bridal Suite for 7 days.

Corsock Church, part of the Corsock & Kirkpatrick Durham Parish, is the nearest to Craigadam. The Minister, Reverend Sally Marsh, is happy to conduct weddings. Services are normally only held there at 11:30 am on the first Sunday of every month, so there is scope to use the Church for weddings at other times. The Minister's number is 01556 503645.

Craigadam is a popular venue for weddings and functions so bookings should be made well in advance.
